Twende Mbweha Camp Soysambu

Experience the splendor of Soysambu and Lake Nakuru National Park with us from  Mbweha Camp. Nested up in Congreve conservancy which is part of the greater Soysambu conservancy and against the southern boarder of lake Nakuru National park with beautiful views of the Eburu and Mau ranges. The camp’s name Mbweha is a Swahili word meaning Jackal.

 

Located approximately two and a half hours drive from Nairobi, Mbweha camp qualifies as a perfect getaway location from the hustle and bustle of the City. It is a Must Visit site whether it is with friends, family, colleagues, chama mates, couples, honeymooners etc.

 

The camp has 10 cottages made from lava stone whose interiors are uniquely decorated with an African touch. All the rooms have a private compound that has a star bath, hammock to laze around during day and a” chilling spot” where one can relax and enjoy nature. If lucky enough, one can get to see a few animals from the comfort of their rooms as the camp is not fenced. 

 

The camp has a lovely open dining and lounge areas which enable guests to commune with nature during and after meals. There is a cozy bonfire area at the main lounge where guests can relax as they enjoy their drinks, bond with each other, enjoy indoor games (Ajua/cheese) or just read a book.

 

Our unique meal system for lunch and dinner is table D,hote and buffet for breakfast catering to a variety of dietary requirements. Being that this is such an exclusive camp, our clients are assured of personalized service from the minute they check in to when they check out.

 

Whilst at the camp, you will will be spoilt for choice on which activities to indulge in at a small fee. You may grab your favorite pair of khakis and camera and head out for a great adventure with our knowledgeable tour guide during nature walks, hiking or a visit to the nearby prehistoric / tourist attraction sites or bicycle rides within the camp grounds.

 

One can also enjoy day game drives in Soysambu Conservancy or the Lake Nakuru National park in our open sided land cruiser, enjoy a camel ride in the Soysambu conservancy, night game drives within the Congreve conservancy.

 

We also have something for the bird lovers, enjoy watching different bird species while listening to their melodious chirping. Enjoy doing some thing out of the ordinary such as having your meals in the wild, sipping your drink as you entertain your eyes with the beautiful animals that pass by.
